All Day

Sports can be larger than just some game.  They can bring us together or divide us.  They can bring joy or heartache.  And sometimes, they can just bring normalcy.
Adrian Peterson's son passed away after apparent abuse this past week.  Mind you, this abuse did not come at Peterson's hands and the man that is allegedly responsible is in police custody. Adrian has also asked for privacy in this very painful matter.
Peterson spoke with the media briefly on Friday, stating that he planned to play in today's game against the Panthers.  Hopefully the normalcy of preparing and playing a football game and the camaraderie of his Vikings teammate will help to console Peterson in this unimaginably hard time in his life.
The Sports Mitten sends our thoughts and prayers to the Peterson family as they face this painful, confusing, and tumultuous time in their lives
